Design degree when I already get client work?

I design for two small businesses on the side. A bachelor degree in design is four years and a lot of money. Is the degree the work, or is the work the work?

    Keep a simple ledger for six months: paid work, hours, and what you had to learn to deliver. If the ledger grows, the degree is optional insurance, not the path. If the work stalls without critique, a programme that gives you critique is worth more than the certificate.
