No stream is best for everyone. Each leads to well-paid careers, and each has students who struggle. The best stream is the one that fits your strengths and the careers you're drawn to. Science (PCM / PCB) Leads to engineering, medicine, research, data, architecture, pilot, defence technical roles. Keeps the most options open, but it's demanding. Choose it if you enjoy science and maths (or biology), not just because it's "safe". Commerce Leads to CA, CS, CMA, finance, banking, business, economics, actuarial science (with maths). Choose it if you like business, money, organising and numbers. Take maths with commerce if you can; it keeps economics and analytics open. Arts / Humanities Leads to law, civil services, psychology, journalism, design, policy, teaching, international relations. Choose it if you love reading, writing, people and society. Good colleges and skills matter a lot here. A quick self-check - Which Class 10 subjects did you score best in and enjoy most? - Pick 5 careers you'd like. Which stream do most of them need? - Can you handle the workload of that stream for two years? Myths to ignore - "Arts is for weak students." False. Many toppers choose arts deliberately. - "Commerce without maths is useless." False, though maths keeps more doors open. - "Science means you're set." Only if you put in the effort and like it. Guidopia's Career DNA shows which careers fit your abilities and interests and the streams those careers need, so you can decide with evidence.
